Rushaine CunninghamTEP

Rushaine Cunningham is one of the most widely admitted attorneys in the Caribbean, licensed to practise across seven Commonwealth Caribbean jurisdictions, and the founder and managing partner of Cunningham Law Caribbean, based in Antigua and Barbuda.

A native of Jamaica, Rushaine conceived his vision of a Caribbean-wide law practice as a teenager and has spent his career building it into reality. Called to the Jamaican Bar in 2015, he relocated to Antigua and has since established a formidable presence across the Eastern Caribbean. He has appeared before all levels of court across his jurisdictions, with a practice anchored in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation — including shareholders' disputes, breach of contract claims, and asset tracing and recovery matters that regularly require urgent interim relief such as freezing orders and injunctions.

His corporate and commercial advisory practice spans mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raising and financing, public-private partnerships, infrastructure projects, and cannabis licensing and regulation. He has advised clients across aviation, energy, hotels, insurance, private equity, and technology.

Rushaine is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), a Notary Public for Antigua and Barbuda, a Registered Corporate Agent with the Financial Services Regulatory Commission, and an elected Council member of the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association, where he chairs the Continuing Legal Education & Ethics Committee. He is also an exclusive IR Global Advisor for Commercial Law in both Antigua & Barbuda and Jamaica.
